Build 014 - 03/11/17

Goal is pretty simple.  Finish a game worth selling for at least $1.  I've had bad luck with trying other genres and ideas... finally realized the fact I have the most experience with platformers and Construct 2 is great for platformers... I should just run with that so here we are.

I know not everyone loves but, I'm determined to work with EGA graphics... so that's where we are so far.

>>> GOALS / MILESTONES

- Good game "feel" / Movement (DONE!)
- Implement hit boxes for attacking / taking damage (DONE!)
- Design 8 to 12 enemies
- Design 4 to 8 bosses / mini bosses
- Create Temporary / Permament Power Ups
- Level Design
- Final Polish and Stress Testing

The movement really does look solid and fun to play!
And i think the oversized weapon works well, but please don't make it any bigger Tongue.

Good luck with the project!

I love the super dithered environments and tiny sprites. Looks like it feels super responsive all the particle effects for movement are awesome!

As a fan of Ultra Greatswords in Souls game, and oversized weapons in general, way to go. I love it. Are the maps procedural, or are they all drawn out?

The levels are ultimately going to be modeled after Spelunky's procedural generation... so yes!
