Yes, it is in production.
This looks interesting and makes me want to try it. Just one recommendation to accept or ignore: You seem to have chosen to use pure grey and pure red as colors. Might I suggest you push both of these a bit away from their current hue, just to add some visual spice? I'm not even talking about realism or lighting here, it's just that grey is such a boring color to look at - if you're using stylish pixel graphics, why not try something slightly more interesting? Red to black isn't bad per se too, but how about adding a layer of orange here and there, or even experimenting with another color to fade towards than black?

Mountain-climbing platformer roguelike. Inspired by (ripped off of) pen's idea. Looks really cool, you have my blessing if you ever want to do it Kind of defeats his whole artist vision of avoiding the typical tiles used in indie games today, though. pretty much this IS tigsource though, and it's always cool to see demakes, even if they're demakes of mockups

Well, I've been having ideas on *REALLY* making a game, and got an idea. And old school rpg where you brave the field in the right, commanding your little self with the command buttons on the bottom or using the arrow keys. Text would simulate a story teller making remarks and you'd get a first person view of the proceedings. Before I'd let the idea escape, I captured it, but I'm not sure I should do it or not. I'm scared of starting it and then quit on it. I don't even thin k it's that original, now that I look at it. Here's the mockups. They were done quickly, so yeah, ugly and stupid.

However, I'd still like to make a climbing game like this. If you're reading this and don't like the mockup, pen, then feel free to PM me and I can take it down. i really like this idea. i love how the image and the genre quickly make for a new take on existing gameplay seems easy to understand but with possible hidden depths sean

More Intellivision crap. This one looks NES-like. Does it have it's palette?

Yes, it is in production. Have you played Soldexus? This graphical style reminds me a lot of that game. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Selection screen mockup for a game that is indeed in the making. I'm struggling to come up with a name though... "Team Bad Ass:Operation Bad Ass."

I like what you have going here I can imagine a lot of neat gameplay that would go along with your image. The vertically oriented roguelike rock climber certainly has a unique and appealling air to it. While I like where you are going with your image I personally find your color scheme to be too dark. Cheers.

Ludumdare 23 Warmup Mockup Randomly picked theme from the popular ones of round 3 (I think) then got a random genre from one of those online generator things. Survival + Pirates Concept is you're a guy who boats around collecting treasure to make coin and stay alive. Worst comes to worst you throw rocks at birds and turtles then eat them. Best comes to best you make a fortune after finding some treasure and live on venison and port. Single screen island just because. 16colour as always, trying some different colours to usual though and liking them.
