Hi there!

Since mid september, Bahototh and me are working on a new game:



About the game:

It all started as a retro arcade game but it's becoming, we hope, a bit more. ; )
You should be able to play the way you want and use strategy.


Defend the wall!


Many ways to kill and many things to unlock and upgrade!

About us:

We both are old gamers (Amiga Golden Age) but we are not totally stuck in the 90' and are open to some "modernity". ^^
We each already released some commercial games like Thy Sword and Dustbowl.

About the tech:

We are using ctjs engine.

About the future:

A very early closed alpha is almost ready. It's ready! Feel free to contact us ; )
There's still a lot to do, we have tons of ideas and we can't wait to let you play!

Looks cool! The techs intrigue me (particularly the explosive tech); I wonder if they can be combined for strategies like freezing -> exploding!
Your guys' past games look cool! Thy Sword's colors in the art were stunning, and Dustbowl's scenes remind me of my favorite Sierra games.
I hope you two have great fun collaborating; I know it can be very fun to work together at times. Best of luck!

Some tech combo are planned indeed and there is a nitrogen special attack similar to a bomb. ; )
We'll post soonish about each tech and weapon.

Hi there!

Some testers played the closed alpha demo before we launch it.
They all asked for mouse control, so I'm working on it.
It's less arcady and retro than the keyboard, but feels natural, a bit easier though.
By the way, even for the mouse, I kept the cannon rotation speed factor (if you know what I mean, if you don't, you'll understand by playing ^^):
I was afraid it would feel weird but I like it (and it makes sense to me).

The demo is almost ready, let me know if you are interested. ; )

Hi there!

Maybe some of you could be interested in knowing more about the engine we use: ctjs.

I wrote a small post about it back in 2021.

To sum up, ctjs is a great tool because it takes benefit of the huge and modern javascript ecosystem.
By the way, it is based on PixiJS.
PixiJS is a fast, powerful and reputed html5 graphic renderer.
Moreover, the great news is that PixiJS incoming v8 will be even faster thanks to WebGPU.
In short, a bright future is awaiting ctjs!

I hope you feel good while checking all the interesting TIG devlogs and can't wait to play all these games. Smiley

What happened since the last post?
We added new enemies and waves and worked on testers' feedback.
We also added obstacles to slow down (but not only hehe) enemies like barrels:



So we are progressing toward the content we had in mind for the open alpha demo.
