Unity3D is now available for free! www.unity3d.comThe Unity Indie license was previously $200, but now it is available for free. It's just had an update to version 2.6, adding a lot of new features. The Unity Pro license is still the same price.

Wow that's pretty amazing!
It's a good thing I never bought it when I was thinking about it about 2 months ago or so.
Although I'm still not going to use it because I found it to be confusing and lacking in documentation (for making 2D games that is)...

Oh hell yes. I've been wanting to buy this since forever. Now it's free. It's like Christmas came early.

It's like a dream come true for me. Definitely going to spend my lunch break tomorrow in front of it. Reading the docs, it sounds really flexible and programmer-friendly, and apparently it even supports direct import from Wings3D!
Here's hoping I like it enough to port Project Oolong / Operation Shoumei to it.

Found out a few hours ago; already downloaded! I'd messed with the demo in August, but didn't want to pay for it until finishing my current GM project. But yes, Unity is awesome!

This is exciting. I may dabble a bit in C# or Boo just because of this.

I think it's hilarious that I bought it the day before it became free. :D Luckily I am getting a refund. The $50 I paid in tax are all gone, however.
