Blade Runner's very slow, but it's so incredibly atmospheric and depressing that I love it... The opening is very weird and the ending... I gave up after a guy got thumbs-to-the-eyes.
Very well done in my opinion, the female members of my family hated it though.

Looks stunning, incredible soundtrack and such atmosphere. Definitely one of the greatest sci-fi films.

I agree, there are better (sci-fi) films but they are good for different reasons - Blade Runner is not about space wars like Star Wars, or exploration like Star Trek, it's about life on the planets AFTER all that, from the POV of a normal (ish) guy, and how shit it is unless you're rich or important |
