I like Oracles version the most so far, but I dislike the long tale..mostly due to playing "WORMS" to much as a youngster.

I like the long tail. It makes him look more distinct.
That said, at this point, I'd like to just see some sprites.

The new one looks great to me! But I still don't get where you get that bandana thingie from, in worms the worm put on something like that when doing "kamikaze" put I have never seen anything like it in liero...

What, is that so thought so devious? I just like it as a little style accessoire, but it's just personal preference...

I'd say keep the bandanna. I haven't played Liero, but I've played Worms a couple of times, so that feature was what made me say "oh, I get, this is the Worms guy" and realize how to use his gunplay to my advantage. Still, for people who've played liero but not Worms, I'd like to know if it confused any of you.

I'm out I have no time, which is particularly different when I decided to try and help. I will still hover and help when I can.

Yeah, that's what I think is wrong with it, because it's not the worms guy

But isn't Liero kind of a demake of Worms?

Yeah, that's what I think is wrong with it, because it's not the worms guy Mm, yeah, I see your point. While it makes him more recognizable to a wider audience, it's not quite faithful to the source...

So, here's the new concept art: Contrary to popular opinion, apparently, I love that sketch! That's exactly how I'd imagined the Liero worm when I was trying to do some concept sketches for a project of my own a while back. I just never could get it to look like that. Perfecto. And as far as this concept art verses the others with segments/long tails, if you're trying to do the Liero worm, this one is it exactly. The segments, long tail, etc. don't look like the Liero sprites at all in my opinion, but rather like stuff from very first Team 17 Worms games. [Example 1 (click)][Example 2 (below)] That's what I think it shouldn't look like. I never liked the original Worms character design much at all. The cute factor just isn't really there. (Their Worms 2/Armageddon sprites were much better, but I digress.) If that's what you're going for, go for it, but it's just not Liero in my opinion. As far as the headband goes, I think, as mentioned, it blends the two major worm characters together a bit. It adds a nice Worms Armageddon-style touch that can lead Liero-ignorant players to mistaking it for the Team 17 worm and therefore opening the character to a wider audience. Also, a headband doesn't seem unfitting to me on a Liero worm, as one of the more popular graphics mods for Liero was Ninja worm, a worm with a red headband: Just my $0.02. -Feliz

Yeah, what he said. Also, I like Kovski's new concept best. The segmentedness of Oracles' never seemed to match up with the true Liero Worm.

I like the anatomy of the new concept art, and if you like it, let the headband stay. Gentlemen, are we agreed?

Fixed it for you. The sprite looks great. Now my roommate will stop calling Liero an octopus.

Tiny edit. I made Liero a bit shorter, to fit his light weight.

I much prefer Kovski's sprite to Jim's. Jim's sprite just seems to be too cluttered, and the details aren't very easy to make out.
