Hmm... technique... Is it the one where the player hugs is on top of the spikes, hugging the wall, then he falls down and miraculously avoids the spikes? If it is, I'll start fixing it.

I'm pretty proud of the level I just made. It's one level short and there are no terribly impressive stunts or anything, but I took Spelunky items and concepts and twisted them into a rather unique course. There are extremely few enemies and all the jumps should be quite managable. If I played my cards right, though, the level should seem impossible at first glance. That's a puzzle for you. Wham!

Ladders aren't suppose to end at the ladder platfrom. You're suppose too put one ladder piece above it. What if Derek decides to remove jumping while on ladders?

Sadly, a small tweak I made to the physics of the game busted Cruelty, and will probably bust similar levels. It has been reforged! http://www.geocities.com/f4fth/fifth-cruelty.zipUnfortunately, the fail rate is a bit higher than I'd've liked.

Good eye, Candlejack. I noticed that climbing up over ladders was more awkward than I remembered it but I didn't notice why. The file should be fixed now.

Wham has been updated. The last puzzle has been changed, there are a couple more toys to play with, and the skull at the beginning of the game vital to solving the first puzzle has been removed and replaced with a team of deadly flesh eating pirahnas.

No, but should you find a way to do so I would like to know because it interrupts the flow of the level quite a bit.

I didn't know you had enough time to do that. Anyway, here's a new version, where the shopkeeper's a little closer. There are a bunch of other changes too, but most of them are graphical or just there to prevent a form of sequence breaking I bet nobody's even thought of yet.
