Indie online multiplayer game graphics inspired heavily by GBC Zelda games, where you built and destroyed the world as you played. I think the main character was a bird. (FOUND IT!) http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=9826.0

One of my friends is looking for a Sega Genesis Action-Adventure/RPG where... apparently it features extremely small sprites/objects, in a very big, sprawling world (that isn't Toe Jam & Earl or Fatal Labyrinth)... something where a player could roam the overworld for hours in a single direction.
Any guesses to go on?

Hi! I remember a DOS game my cousins played on the PC way back in 1994 or so. I think it was 4 bit (16 colors). It had 2 game modes, one of which was a lateral view fighting game. One detail I remember is that the CPU had a move that would kick you down, then jump several times on your character's crotch (that marked me, as I was very young). The other game mode I think was a top-down view. That's about it. Any ideas?

BIG mystery for another friendly:
Mysterious Volleyball Game (kudos if you can solve the mystery) (199?) This is the very first game my memory can remember. All my first systems & games were black market copies straight from Japan. Nothing was translated so my father & I were unable to complete multiple games (especially RPGs, which lead to the first moment I wanted to learn Japanese). Not this volleyball one though. You get a team of 5(?), you TRY to hit the other team, you get power up balls, final levels in OUTER SPACE. Unfortunately I can't remember the exact system or the name of the game (again, Japanese).

Maybe you're referring to the "robots league" of Hyper-V Ball? If not this one, the "you have to hit the other team" sounds like the Super Dodge Ball games, although they don't end up in space AFAIK: Nes version: NeoGeo Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Np7-xrlYhLg

RTS game. It was an army, a little bit hi-tech and it had cutscenes made with time lapsed drawing videos (with crayons) as narrator talked. Any ideas? I played it like 10 years ago or more.
