Yo, welcome to tigsource. http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=5746.0The cardinal rule of voxel based games is that you have to emphasize the voxels. What better way than putting voxel right in the title??? Voxel Bandit Voxel Rogue Space Trader: The Voxel Kronikles

Well what I really wanted to make was a game where you can design and create entire ships, rather than just use a few pre-designed ones. Which got me onto the idea of using a voxel based engine. Worlds and other ships etc will be procedurally generated. Unlike other space traders I don't want the entire game to be viewing the back of a ship, instead have first person view of the captain, who pilots the ship via screens and buttons etc. I haven't done anything plot wise i'm still working on the engine. Oh, and I know about Drifter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/celsiusgs/drifter-a-space-trading-game?ref=live and Mars Effect http://marseffect.net/.

Hi there, I'm trying to find a name for a coin themed match3 action puzzle. I'm considering "Becoined" as the name but I'm not native English speaker and not sure if people can relate this name to a match3 gameplay rather than... something else? The gameplay is rather fast paced, player need to clear as many coins as possible before coins filled up the bottle and aim for highscore. If the name above is not appropriate, what would be a good name for the game? Here's a screenshot of the game: Thanks in advance, I always got faith in you guys xD Nan

Such as "Bejeweled"? I'm sure Popcap didn't invent the match 3 genre, but you might not want your game to make people think of theirs. Here are some other ideas: Pennies From Heaven Winfall Cashout

I don't really like becoined, it sounds like a cheap bejeweled ripoff :p

the central character (green rectangle) will be substituted for a character of some kind who will have kick, punch and hook attacks. each game is a single huge-ass combo, where you're punching, kicking and juggling enemies around to avoid falling off the bottom edge of the screen.
V e (it means escape velocity)

thanks, it's actually a pretty cool name! but I think it would be more suited for a game with techno-minimal graphics, say like rez or n+ whereas my game is probably going to have chunky lighthearted pixel art, say like "super t.i.m.e. force" or something like that. still, it sounds pretty cool so I'm making a note of it.

Ve (it means escape velocity)
how about: -"hook" (where the two o's are joined to make the "infinity sign") -"hook love" (nice wink to noitu love, which is one of my inspirations. also fits the aesthetics of the game better I think since it's a lighthearted cheerful thing)

Loose change? I don't really like becoined, it sounds like a cheap bejeweled ripoff :p So yeah after give it some thought it does sort of screaming bejewled... Loose Change is quite fit for the theme. I'm thinking of mix it with something that shows not only the theme but also the action. Thanks a lot for the suggestion!

How about "Lucky Change"?
Does it sound more active than Loose Change or is it just cheesy or lame?
I'm feeling really clueless when it comes to determine the feeling of a word or phrase...

why would you make the oos and infinity sign? why exactly
because it's a survival game without a definite ending.

It can mean to toss and a brief/casual affair. (Maybe instead of attacking enemies, you're making out with them ) I like Winfall for its coolness and implication! But not sure if it's direct enough for most people?
Who doesn't know what "winfall" means?
