hehay nice gun colon! if you make more stuff for that, please show us. it'd be interesting to see the world that goes along with the gun... i took a break from making backgrounds the other day to model something that'll be needed later. originally i wanted to draw aerosol cans for this scene, but when i tried it, it wasn't turning out how i wanted it. this is the result after going into to photoshop doing some adjustments, and adding in some dried up chewed gum. and a posterize filter so it fits our game's 90s adventure aesthetic. im quite satisfied with this! probably my best 3d stuff ever.

There's actually quite a bit, but the thing is the game's demo won't be ready until the 23rd. in the meantime though, here's this:

Trying to rework some graphics and animations here. It will be a third this size in-game. (Except the background which I just grabbed a screenshot and blew it up to 3x to fit the test render )

It's pretty simple: I model the eyelid area around a sphere, and then duplicate the sphere, scale it up a bit, and then remove the a part of it that I want to use for the iris/pupil part, which is then rigged to a bone whose origin is at the center of the spheres. This way, it'll be able to go around the base eye sphere without intersecting it at all. The shadow is done by duplicating the sphere again, and then scaling it up so both the iris/pupil and the base sphere fit inside of it, UV mapping it from the front view, and putting a transparent gradient texture on it. As if he wasn't already fabulous enough, you actually put his own face into his eyes? That is fantastic.

hey i'm new to TIG. you guys make cool stuff. here's some visual exploration for a thing. edit:forgot to mention. building is 3d. everything else is mockup pencil tool stuff. working on getting this into Unity today. I haven't played around with custom shaders for a while, so getting the screenspace tone on the model is gonna take me a little while. also hoping to get some simple gradient work based on the bounding box of the model in there.

When I scroll the page up and down the roof flashes between green and pink, trippy.

Currently experimenting with artstyles. I think ill go along with this one for my game. Lowpoly 1600 triangle mesh with handpainted textures (texture painting in blender)

Damn right, Prinsessa; the dude's just that egotistical. Finally got around to texturing this character:

That's really good, McMutton. I'd forgotten how well you texture your KoE characters, though the difference in the eye styles makes me think this is for another project or something? Excellent work, nonetheless!
