Ah! I was just wondering how we Garden Gnome Carnage could be implemented, and I think it would work better if we used not the gnome itself but The Golden Brick! It would be a one use highly explosive projectile. There should be some risk of collateral damage if you fail to throw it far enough away.

The GGC cat should be part of the explosion!

There are already a lot of explosives, though. What sets the brick apart?

Aawwriiight. So I take it the items taken from games we've already got permission for are open for spriting, now? EDIT: Also, reference pictures for the various items might be helpful. I only know what Sea Loaf looks like

Yep. Health Pack is just a white box with a red cross. Sea Cake looks like a hockey puck made from fish eggs. Spicy Roll is glowing red meat wrapped in a leaf. Hot Soup is a bubble filled with red liquid. Umbrella is a black umbrella. Crayon is a red crayon. Hologram is a black pad with a blinking shape above it. Ball: Cubes: Bomb looks like... a bomb. Chiquita Bomb looks like a banana bunch. Hell B-Ball looks like a flaming basketball. Mia: Asha- a one-armed komato assassin Rilo: Gunlimb: Juni: Noitu Love: Nautilus: John Defoe: Cyberdwarf: Ortho and Cut point are hard to explain. Just download Immortal Defense. Meatboy: Shotgun Ninja: Clot Crystal is a red crystal. Invincible Burger looks like most other burgers.

John Defoe: He means the masked dude. Yup, its basically a dude with black hair, a welder's mask, a machete and a leather apron.

Golden bricks bounce off the side of the screen, even if there's nothing there. In other words, it will always explode on the ground, so you can do things like bank shots and hope that someone doesn't notice it coming on the backswing.

If the golden brick as an explosive is not an option we could still use a normal brick to throw at someone's head just for funs and damage.

It must be an indie brick, though.

Uh, garden gnome carnage. That is a game that very prominently features bricks, and the throwing thereof. I'd rather we used the golden brick, but if Soulliard really takes offense, it's the other major option.

I don't take offense, per se. It just seems redundant. The ball, cubes, bomb, chiquita bomb and armadillo all work about the same. They all have some feature that sets them apart. I just don't see what sets the brick apart from, say, a blue cube.

For one, why use the armadillo? I think the pterodactyl would make a better item/support character from Dino Run. Second, we don't have to use an item just because it was suggested earlier. "Blue Cube"? It just doesn't sound nearly as interesting as the golden brick. Same with the ball, bomb, and the other items. Besides, even then, the golden brick bounces, and that does set it apart.

The armadillo is from Armadillo Run. And it's not a support character. It's essentially a koopa shell. It's unique because it rolls along the ground. Check the first post for the item descriptions.
The cubes from Lyle in Cube Sector deserve a place in the game, because they fill the valuable role of simple, basic thrown items. Plus, they'll likely need to be added for Lyle anyway.
The Ball is a character from Within a Deep Forest. Nifflas is a very popular indie game designer, so I'd like to include something from his games. As an item, the Ball is set apart because it is incredibly bouncy, and can even bounce off enemies and hit multiple times.
The bomb is unique because it has a timed fuse. And no game would be complete without bombs.

What about using the gnome instead? Like a giant yo-yo or something.

Excellent. Also, it might be beneficial to update your OP with the images of items that have already been done, so that we don't get new spriters accidentally working where it's not needed.
