Nice one !! inspiring stuff My only grip is that the Pacing is kinda slow Character moving slow , ennemies a bit slow to react too Maybe it's done on purpose. |

Ahh, Im sorry about that. It's only the videos that are like that, the game runs much faster than in those. It's due to the recording equipment I used, it somehow slowed down the footage slower than it actually should look. Sorry for the misconception. Thank you though! |

Try pay it if you want infinite record.
But if you dont know fraps, try it before.

Wow, this bat-drill design is really cool  ! It reminds me about mothman from Disgaea series - it has air-drill attack and "eye" ornament in the wings. But your version looks much better. |

Indeed, Jad. and thanks, ashpd, I didn't know about that and haven't seen it before, but it sounds interesting. This was a coincidence if it looks similar.
I had realized I didn't have many minibosses that give drill ability when defeated(I think only one so far), so this one will be helping to alleviate that. Also I want to make more minibosses, of course. Also, I don't remember where, but I overheard someone talking about how not enough games have bosses that you fight while perpetually falling, so this will also be a boss that does that. In fact it sort of changes the gameplay for this boss and becomes a shooter for a bit, where you're falling down a mineshaft and the boss is chasing after you as you shoot upwards at it, dodging projectiles.

Hi there, Congratulations for Jack the Reaper, it's an awesome project. I wish more indie games could be created following the traditional game criterias like Jack the Reaper does. I wanted to put under your attention a souls combination which appears to just shoot regular bullets. It's the bomb + bullets combo, I took a screenshot and uploaded here. Not sure if the combo is missing? The version I played is the one updated on 5/30/2013 5:31 PM. Keep up the great work! |
