I got a texture done for the panda today, I think he turned out pretty cute! I changed the paws to be a little less stumpy as well: Awwwwww. (You sure about the shape of the black/white line on his torso? In my head, I was expecting something a little more rounded).

TMNT don't wear ninja masks. They have headbands with holes in them.

whilst I think ninja masks would quite possibly be the coolest thing ever for the turtle, I can't help but be scared of getting sued. Though, there is no way to be responsible for any 3rd party assets that people make and use which we have no control over . . .

I'm not sure if Ubisoft are allowed to use those ninja masks, but in Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, you can dress up in a turtle shell and a ninja mask, like the ones in TMNT.
It's just a piece of cloth. Don't think they can sue you for that.

I believe there's some sort of law stating that as long as a piece is intended as parody of a popular franchise, you can let it slide. Don't ask me, though, I'm not a lawyer.
You could just make it as an accessory for all of the characters; that way, Ubi can't get mad when people put two and two together.

Yeah, it's known as "fair use".
Oh, and a turtle with a moustache is gonna be fucking awesome too.

I'm getting so excited by this project. It was one of the reasons I recently started using Ogre. I've got a lot to learn though, haha. I'd love to know how you achieved the rim-lighting, although I probably wouldn't understand it yet, being quite a novice at shaders. Great work!

Right now our monocle and mustache items are seperate so you can only have one or the other, but due to some pressuring from my partner I think I am going to merge them into the same item, and add some evil eyebrows and a goatee as well. here is how we achieved the rim lighting in ogre without a shader: http://nimblebit.blogspot.com/2008/02/rim-lighting-extravabonanzathon.html

I think you should instead allow to have 3 accessories in your face, at the same time. This way you could combine some awesome stuff, and it'd be the user's own fault if they look like crap.

yea, I am trying to limit the amount to which people can make things crap since I know many people will do just that. There could also be some possibility of people choosing combinations of multiple items that could impact every one's performance too.
