 bought graphics gale finally so i made a magical girl This is easily on par with Fire Emblem art, really good job. The skin tone + hair is a challenge though - even if it sounds crazy you should probably find a way to create some contrast around the eyes and hairline, because that's where a lot of expression happens... |

i actually spent a couple hours trying to add in about 5 extra colors so it would come out to 24 since that seems to be the minimum those portraits have lol

WIP character, I got stuck with months ago. today i went to try again and so far its coming along quite nicely. Even if i haven't made pixel art since back then, i can still see a jump in my understanding of colors, shading etc..  in comparison.. this was the old one:  |
