Didn't update anything public lately... but we were still productive. This image shows Splatter, which now got gamma-correct lighting, a SSAO filter, new blood and gore effects, and about two thirds of the main story levels are done now. The little green things in the picture are fireflies, which - for some reason - emit the same fear-inflicting light that also make your flares so valuable. As long as you don't do loud things (e.g. shooting) you can walk behind or right through the firefly crowd without the monsters noticing you. It's one of those little ideas I try to bring into each level to shake up the everlasting monster shooting. Later in that level you encounter a harvester steered by a zombie trying to run over you. You can't damage it with your weapons, but you can blind it with your flares and have it crash into walls so that the zombie finally falls out. Then you can enter the harvester and run over some zombies for yourself. Edith says: These pictures are just too damn large! I put scaled preview images instead, click to get the full size.

Still Saturday to meeee because I haven't slept yet. Worked on the new version of an old map in Infected Slaughter today. Y'know, if it weren't for the zeds trying to kill me, this place is kinda nice.

ScreenshotSaturday #19 for OddBall. You can check my devblog for a full description ( http://www.velvetycouch.com), but essentially this image is showing some of the new particle effects I've been working on

Okay, you have missed Saturday significantly three weeks in a row, now. If you just want to show off your progress, you could use the " So what are you working on?" or " Today I created..." threads, or create a devlog thread of your own, or something. It kinda ruins the specialness of this thread and its day if you keep on posting on Mondays. Ugh... this really shouldn't bother me as much as it does.

Bothers me too, since the screenshots are half his posts. Ah well.
