It doesn't look like much at first, but GunGirl 2 is actually great fun! I've just been to hell and back and so far I like it a lot  On a basic level the gameplay might be pretty generic, but it was seemingly very well crafted beyond that. Also, it reminds me a lot of Zombie Smashers X2. That is much, much more repetitive, but the combat feels very similarly satisfying  And the music is great, too. Josh just doesn't disappoint, even if this soundtrack is totally different from the other ones I know |

GunGirl2120 MB @ PixelProspectorHomepagea fine platform shooter. 2 years in development. full version avaialble.  NeonPlat 23 MB (win, mac, linux) @ PixelProspectorHomepagea brillant sequel to the great frantic arcade single screen platformer. now it features 4 player co-op mode, more powerups, more enmies etc. also resolution up to 1920x1080! highly playable work in progress available. more refined version will be out next week.

(and especially PixelProspector  ) Today I got a mail from the german indie developer Joyride Laboratories with informations about their first game: Nikki and the Robots It's a platformer with very nice pixel art design and a "control various robots and use their special abilities" feature! The release is scheduled for 2010, the game itself will maybe come with an editor and for free!
