Braid for PC has been delayed Spring '09 http://braid-game.com/news/?p=392 Jonathan Blow also mentions plans for the mac version and the possibility of Braid on the PS3, depends on if Sony bites. I live in europe, so I'm used to these delays, how about you?

It's nice to have an actual release(-ish) date! It's a shame it isn't coming out earlier, though. I've been dying to play it.

I am not so shocked, because I have it for 360, and beat it. Amazing game, and I love Johnathan Blow <3, but it sucks for people who are looking forward to it. Sorry guys!

I casually mentioned in another thread that I highly doubt there's any real technical difficulty in porting the game. If you look at some of the presentations Blow gives, he can be seen clearly showing a version of Braid, complete with all the bells and whistles in the final game (okay, perhaps missing some polish), running on a PC.

According to Kotaku it was because of the number of big name titles being released in the late 2008 period. Jonathon was afraid Braid would be lost amongst them.

This is more annoying now that I played a few levels of it on my friend's 360 yesterday.

According to Kotaku it was because of the number of big name titles being released in the late 2008 period. Jonathon was afraid Braid would be lost amongst them. They're probably just going by what Blow wrote in his blog, linked in the first post in the thread: I had originally announced the release date for the end of 2008, but for various reasons, this hasn’t happened. Once we slipped into mid-October and all the big Christmas-season blockbusters started coming out, it just seemed like a bad idea to schedule Braid for that time period, as it seems likely it’d get released and then disappear. So, "various reasons" first, end of year glut second.

This is one of those must have titles for me, I played it already on a friend's xbox (convinced him to buy it so I could play it) and now I'm waiting for it to be released on PC.
