So our Kickstarter seems to be going well, though I think it's probably too early to tell how it's going to turn out.

Greenlight is also going well. It's going to be a tough month trying to get more coverage on this, and we're a little overwhelmed with where to start.

This is the music featured in the video. I'll be going for this kind of style for most of the game, which is kind of a new challenge for me. We've spoken briefly about the idea of dynamic music, increasing in tension and just getting plain 'orrible when bad times are being had. Not certain about this yet though.

Hey, how is it going with your campaign?
I saw that you almost have your first 500 bucks, which is cool, but only a small portion of the goal, so I wanted to ask what your plans are to make the campaign a success. Have you prepared updates, new screenshots, videos or even a demo? Cause often people think creating the campaign is the end of the job, but it's only the beginning. You have to stay relevant over the entire course of the campaign to reach new people and give them a reason to share it.
I really would love this to become a success story and I wish you all the best! Smiley

Thanks for the tips, Rebusmind!

It's going well, but it has been a very stressful few days. We're going to be working hard to try and get some fresh content into circulation to get more attention. The main thing we're looking for is more traffic currently. Our Greenlight is doing very well currently, though I don't know what exactly is required to be "greenlit"

Has been a hell of a few days. We've been working full time trying to promote this, and it has really started to pay off the last 24 hours. We're currently 7 percent funded. A long way to go, but the goal seems achievable with 26 days to go!

Thanks to anyone who has supported, and we hope to have more updates to post shortly.

Exposure is the main thing you guys need to focus on, hit up some indie journalist/forums/youtubers. If you can get the exposure I definitely can see you guys meeting your kickstarter goal.

Good luck!!!

Thanks for the tips, Slader! We've been firing out emails left right and centre, and are currently working on another gameplay preview to show people.

So at the start of the game (before the nuclear war) the family has to drive to the supermarket to battle the other shoppers for supplies during the four minute warning.

Support is overwhelming at the moment. We've had a few articles written about us. Also, my local paper here in Shrewsbury, UK called the Shropshire Star is doing a little piece about us and we have photographers coming over tomorrow *gulp*.

Thank you so much to anyone that is following the game. I can't say updates to the game itself are going to be frequent over the next 25 days, but we'll try to keep this as coherent as possible.

Also, we've just launched our website for the game. www.unicube.net/sheltered there's still a lot of work to do, but get involved with the community forum!

The game sounds really tense and wonderful ! Especially in the variety of threatening and morally ambiguous interactions one might find.

This is only an opinion, but perhaps your Kickstarter video shows very little of the game itself ? Maybe it could be a little longer, with voice over explaining the game being played out on screen.

p.s I like that there is a René Magritte painting hanging in the bunker ( though I do not why ? ) Good luck with your Kickstarter

No link to the Kickstarter on your game's website? I believe this would be a great spot for such a link. Smiley

Make sure you update this thread when you know what day the piece will be published, i'm from the Telford area so i'll totally buy a copy and check out the article.

It's really cool to see a local guy doing good, well done on the exposure!

Thanks for the suggestion Eric. Being busy we often forget little things like that  Facepalm
Link is now on the front page!

Thanks, beeglebug! We'll be posting the pictures and things as soon as we're printed!
Telford, ey, not far! We'll have to grab a beer or something sometime.

Make sure you all get involved in our community forums www.unicube.net/sheltered/forum

Photographer told us it could be any time in the next few days, so not very specific!

I like the aesthetic. I hope you'll acheive your Kickstarter goal, and it seems to be reachable. Congrats on getting greenlit.
