Note that XNA is free, and you only have to pay if you plan to release to the Xbox.

I see you have FreeBasic listed but not QB64. http://www.qb64.net/ It's almost completely compatible with QBasic but has new features.

Monkey needs some love!
http://www.monkeycoder.co.nz/

It's a programming language that can be compile to various platforms : Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, XBox360 and HTML5. It's still young but the community is pretty active. It's made by the guy who made Blitz programming language family, so it seems like it has a good future. Kiss

Indeed Monkey is new but it's picking up steam. It is basically Haxe but actually useful and with a Basic-like syntax. I'm going to use it for my next game.

The "flash" section is missing the part where there IS a free alternative to Adobe Flash(FlashDevelop).

Scrupp
Main Website: http://scrupp.sourceforge.net/
Community: Scrupp forum, which is very inactive
Tutorials: Come with many sample apps
Cost: FREE!
Programming Required: Lua, C ( If you want to play with the source )

Quote
"Scrupp is a 2D engine. It consists of a core written in C which uses several SDL libraries and OpenGL to display the content. The core exports functions to the easy to learn Lua programming language. One writes its application using Lua. The result works without changes on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X"

IMO, this looks really awesome and it seems like a good example of how to integrate lua into your C application. Kinda sad that it isn't getting much attention.
