I bet he is writing a lengthy analyze about current state of video-games as an art-form and how to they can be advanced with personal design principles. It just takes a lot more time due his broken keyboard.

I originally read that as Lego Mein Kampf, that certainly would have been...interesting.

When did Legos get so goddamn expensive? It's a 12x12xsomething block with no moveable parts or unique bits. I remember when $35 could net you the second biggest Lego set in a theme.
Holy shit, Legos are expensive. I'm looking at their store now and it's fucking bonkers. Makes me feel almost guilty for making my parents buy me them all the time. Even the smallest sets are upwards of thirty dollars!
Oh, and one more thing. Have you ever tried to separate two 1x1x0.5 blocks? They were always the absolutely worst! I bite my fingernails and could never separate them, I always had to use my teeth or a butterknife.

Yes, make the person who originally linked everyone with NO REFERRAL feel terrible. That is a good idea. I didn't get my referrals from TIGsource, I didn't even post my link here. If you're feeling panda have this picture.

I suspect that part of the reason for Lego sets' high price is their license costs. At least that would possibly explain that Minecraft set's price. Though even then Lego sets are very expensive nowadays. When I was kid my parent's required me to "collect" (do some minor work) money myself to buy my Legos. I had lots of them but also don't remember buying them very often so I guess they were expensive back then too.

i bet the price is because of the uniqueness. also, it looks kinda different with ordinary lego, or maybe that's what ordinary lego looks like nowadays. and also, i will kill someone if they ask me to seperate 1x1x0.5 piece.
well, let's wait for some richy guys and girls post their epic work of that.

Yeah, this was made through that Lego Kickstarter-esque thing so it's pretty boutique. I can understand the pricing. It's like their (fucking awesome) architecture series.

To separate two 1x1x0.5 bricks you rotate the top brick and bottom brick until they are 45 degrees out of line with each other, so you have room to pull them apart. It's still a pain in the ass, but it's the best technique there is. My thumbs are getting sore just thinking about it.
The "Hidden Resources" comment is really weird. For a moment, I was thinking that maybe it comes assembled and you disassemble them to find where the diamonds are hidden, but that seems awkward.
In my house, we always played that the 1x1x0.5 bricks were jewels and the object of Legos was to build a fort out of random bricks and then fight with your brothers to dig the tiny bricks out of the box and hoard them in a pile. Then you'd build a really cool ship with an incredibly flimsy mast and you'd spend the rest of the session trying not to let the mast break off whenever you did anything with it.
God I miss Legos.

Lego's are made out of some expensive plastic material from sweden. The good thing about that though is that they last almost forever. You can keep them for years if you take good care of them.
