i used to build elaborate vehicles out of legos just to run them into walls. i also had a couple star wars lego sets.
In elementary school my buddies and me would do something similar ha. We'd make space ships and throw them off the top of a bunk bed. Simpler times  |

Simpler times I built all kinds of wooden things from small wood pieces and then tested how much they managed to take throwing to a huge rock on our garden to find out which was most durable  Btw, what is the font of user texts below avatars? |

@Aloshi: It's funny you should mention that, I posted pictures when mine came in. It's a great book and you won't be disappointed!  My Mother 3 Handbook (hardcover) came in today. Best day ever? Or bestest day ever?

I'd recommend having it as a nice little collectors item. It won't help you much if you've already beaten the game, but there's a few neat things I missed during my playthrough, that I found out through this book. There's a free version you can look at online if that's more to your liking, but as I mentioned, I'd prefer having it as a collectors item.

So I'm thinking about starting a devlog for my GameBoy Color homebrew, but I'm more interested in asking users here questions and seeing what design choices they like for various things. I'm not sure where I'd make something like that. In design, or as a devlog? Thoughts?

Somewhere in this hole of holes is/was a thread about posting "favorite YouTube LPers" or something along the lines, and I'm tired of crawling around digging for it. So here: RohamMythril is effing INCREDIBLE - he's beaten every robot master/stage of every classic MegaMan game without taking a hit or (except where essential) using any items/special weapons. The guy is a BEAST. Yrimir has somehow recorded... speedruns of Terraria... however that works... Northernlion plays a nifty mixed bag of Indie and Adventure games, link is his Volume 1 of Dark Souls (his present playthrough, which is WAAAY different than mine!). He hits Anor Londo in his early teens, where by that point I'd gone through Depths, Blighttown, The Great Hollow, Return to Undead Asylum, The Catacombs, and New Londo Ruins... sistermindR plays some absolutely dicktacular SMB hacks, such as Super Mario Expiation - where the timer counts down in frames an any scoring of points besides flagpoles results in immediate death. Awesome video editing factors in, and yes, they beat it too. |

Aw, I was gonna say that. I actually just finished a Raocow video before coming here. I also quite like Hamsteralliance's videos. He keeps the technical stuff really high quality. He also does than Let's Plays. |
