So I got COD Black Ops 3 (I know, I know, it's sacrilege here), and only after having purchased it did I learn they stripped a bunch of shit out of the PS3 (and XBOX 360) version, including the single player campaign and couldn't be bothered to put anything in its place. What that leaves is the multiplayer, which would be okay, I guess, except their servers are fucked up and over the course of several hours we've been able to play only 3.5 matches. Also, we've had to restart the game a dozen or so times due to it freezing up both PS3s. So now we are stuck with a $50 investment we can't really play.
What really pisses me off about this is that my kids love playing the game with us and after the laggy hack-a-thon that was COD Ghost I wasn't going to get another COD game but they really wanted to play it and we had much better luck with the Black Ops line than other COD games so I was hopeful. We had set up for all 4 of us to play when it came out and due to all the issues with it they ended up having to go to bed before we could even get into a single match, so they were very disappointed.
There needs to be some class action lawsuits going on with developers pulling this shit, apparently with the beta they were having most of these issues so they just released the game broken anyways. It is complete bullshit. I get that a good majority of you don't care for COD or even AAA games but still, it is ridiculous regardless of what developer or game we are speaking of. If I bought a toaster and it didn't work I could take it back and get a refund or a replacement, with games basically we are just fucked.
Long story short, if you are one of the few here looking forward to COD Black Ops 3, wait until they fix it, if they fix it.

THOSE are buggy games. |

Been playing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate lately. Managed to get to HR7 last night with the help of a Bunch of G-Rank huntin' Buddies. By the end of it my hand was cramping up so bad.
Also one of my G-Rank Buddies carted during a High Rank hunt, I mean I carted once, but I'm not G-Rank, and it was a two man hunt at the time.

Re bugs.
Steam be like:
1. Game gets released. Has a few bugs.
2. Everyone that bought the game gets a refund until the bugs are fixed, no matter how minor the bugs are.
3. The bugs never get fixed because the game's showing no active userbase at this point, because everyone requested a refund.
You know how in the 90s there was that joke in movies/TV about people making impotent threats to sue anyone over anything? This is what Steam refunds are.
