that game is literally minecraft terraria
Actually, from all the reviews I've been reading (I am sorry, I am addicted to Dragon Quest) it is very quest-based so rather than just being left with the option to wander around and build shit you are actually rebuilding Alefgard (the kingdom Dragon Quest/Warrior 1 is set in) and the story takes place as if the hero in DQ1 had taken the Dragon Lord up on his offer to rule the world together. You play as the descendant of the hero from DQ1 and are dealing with the aftermath of the Dragon Lord betraying that game's hero and driving the world to ruin.

I really disliked how aimless Minecraft, Terraria, etc. feel once the initial amusement of building shit wears off so I am interested in a more objective-driven take on the experience (plus it's fuckin' DRAGON QUEST!!!) .

gimmy document old space game classics: the thread

I'm putting "similar" games where one aspect could have informed no man sky and help people who come here find alternative or inspiration to do better. If I finish my current game (IF f*ck that synopsis) I would want to make something beyond some quick unpractical prototype I'm doing from stolen code around the internet.

I think this digging also help understand WHERE the hype for no man's sky came in part.
Part next evolution of minecraft/terraria, part spaceflight clones evolution, part multiplayer, part mass effect, part gta in space, part freespace/xwing envy. NO way to win, no way to please them all.

That is the TIGS forums golden rule: your post count and length in any given thread must be inversely proportionate to the actual direct experience you have with the subject matter of the thread topic.

I plan to post the living shit out of that Babylon 5 thread when I get around to buying more alcohol. Beer!Toast Right

Can someone please gift me the game and also a new computer to run it on. I wanna see what's all the fuzz is about. I will also accept a PS4 but you need to throw in a TV in that case. Thank you!
