The poses sure are a lot less stiff and just.. better. Interesting to see a slightly different style. Don't know if you're evolving, trying something new, or just having some fun, but the line work being less heavy is something I haven't seen from you before. Sorry, I'm terrible at feedback. Good job.

@gggfhfdh: It's unusual (and cool!) to see you try something different, but it feels like Mistral and Moonson are very hard to read; If you don't know Mistral design, you can barely notice her "real" arms.
Amstrong is incredibly better now, and Sam looks even cooler, though.  Coffee



I figured I'd share my main sketch file from 2014. I used it kinda like a digital sketchbook, so it's a lot of random stuff.

I remember seeing the brown DJ guy a while back and it caught my eye. I think the brown with light blue for lighting works super well. People talk about complementary colors, but it's not so common to see it truly working without being either subtle/sane or a bit gimmicky, if you know what I mean.

I don't think the design is plain, but it would come together more with a unified color palette. Also, you've got some pillow shading happening, particularly on the limbs on his left. The design and proportions are pretty nice, but if you worked a little more on the color choices and shading I think it would look a hundred times better.  Hand Thumbs Up Left

The point of anti-aliasing is to smooth out rough corners and edges caused by differently colored pixels. You might not need anti-aliasing; not every work should have it.

@Shawny - Cool girl. I think I'd ease up on the frame doubling that you've put on those animations.

@failnaut - Agreed about the shading and the palette. Nice character, though.

Tower 57 - Hexapod:



The Hexapod is the main security drone of the tower.
They seem innocent and most of them won't attack unless you get to close to them or you triggered alarms.
Once they have picked up on your presence they will relentlessly chase you down!
While they are weak on their own, in a big crowd they pose a bigger threat.

The near arm is reaching further than the back one, coupled with the slight head rotation towards the camera it makes her seem like she's punching or rowing into the walk. Idle is dope though.
