Well it looks like you might win this duel after all.. I got held up at work and just getting back to this right now. I'll try to get something up soon, but it won't be much.

WELL! It seems that I have something done. Mr. PDC, you have won this duel by completing your wonderful game well within the timeframe, whilst I was 3.5 hours late. Nevertheless, here's what I have so far. I wouldn't call it a full game, but not bad for one night of work methinks. http://ivansafrin.com/games/robotduel.zip

Same to you, my friend.

These were awesome!
PDC gets the prize for most ironic title, and most finished game, and for the most indie concept, and for making me laugh, and for being on time.
Toastie gets the prize for best art (by a long way), and best potential for a full game.
It's close!
I think my vote would go for PDC's Funventure, in the spirit of the duel.

I think PDC wins this duel, but I want to see more of Robot Duel!
Also, I would be totally up for a duel with someone. I would rather wait until they slight me rather than just duel for the sake of it though.

I actually think it's better if duels are used to solve ACTUAL disputes, since then there's more motivation to win, and less of this weak 'well done, opponent!' behaviour. People should use duels to solve questions like, 'which Final Fantasy was the best'?

Hey, I already said I might duel this weekend. That duel is looking more and more likely to happen, as well.

Duels can be over disputes or not. Woe as me for I get offended very easly.
Any challengers?
I accept your challenge my good sir, since moi is far too much a coward to take me on. I choose it to be a 3 hour game creation challenge. We must spend no more than 3 hours on our game. Do you accept these terms? I also suggest we only choose the theme of the challenge right before we start, to make sure we don't get anything made in advance. I can do it tonight, at around 18:00 or 19:00 EST. What say you? Oh, almost forgot: Your birth certificate is an apology from the condom factory
