UPDATES!!

I have been adding the new engine parts. so Specific Items and enemies, that will be expanded later to create all the many variants. I also have the game running on IPhone and IPad with correct resolution. I am also doing stress tests to get a pretty standard framerate. So Far its going pretty well. One of these days I will have a build for everyone.

Alright, so I will be needing a few testers if anyone wants to give it a try. I will also be posting a some screenshots and some new info.

Edit:

we have the new UI. the player can carry 2 items in the upper right and then their current looted gold is in the upper left. The middle bar is the night bar. the player basically needs to grab as much loot as possible and then get out, before the evil lord wakes up. you can also see the two treasure chests. Brown contain gold and the red one always has an item in it.

Well I got saving for the Highscore in and I have sent out some builds to some testers. Still working forward although I need to Start working on the Menu, but I need to decide on a final name first. I never really liked Microgue so I have been trying to get a name which better describes the game. basically stealing as much as you can from this evil lords tower.

I dont know. I am trying to shy away from the Rogue name, but I might end up just leaving what I have. It kind of fits I guess.

in the name your game thread someone suggested Loot and Scoot, but there is already a game with that name. I was trying to come up with something similar though. of the verb & verb variety.

Since you have a tower and skeletons as one of the main enemies, might I humbly suggest:

Bricks & Bones

(That was me. I didn't know it was already used – I crossed it out because I thought it was dumb.)

With apologies to The Archer:

The Lootin' Lutin

Or... umm...

Dwarf Raid
Pocket Pillager
A Dwarf in the Night (play off "a thief in the night")
Mini Monster Mash & Cash
Concerned

I like Microgue.  If you think of it as one word I think it works.  TBH when I first saw the name I was like: "Bastard, that's a good idea"

you know I might just stay with MicRogue. its an easy name, and you are a bit of a scoundrel character. the beginning menu will have you kicked out of the tavern for having no cash so you raid the evil castle for booze money. Now we come to the hardest part, what font do you like the best?

Great story idea, love it.

I'm a fan of the first and second fonts but am probably leaning towards the second.

If you go with mixed case (MicRogue) lots of people will think it's said "Mick Rogue". I'd go with all caps or initial caps + small caps.

The fifth font. It's the best combination of "fancy" and readable. o.o b
