I was a bit burned out with all the geometry-related code (collisions and whatnot) so I decided to try my hand at per-pixel lighting. Here's a little test: That's a directional light (no attenuation) rotating around the Y, X and Z axes (Y is the vertical axis in this case, instead of Z). The normal map I made by hand, I'll possibly make a tutorial at some point.

Looks fun and hectic, though you should note that shadows don't "add" like you have them going there - I understand you're probably just alpha blending them but it'd be a nicer/more realistic touch if you drew them into their own buffer if you're gonna have so many ships potentially overlapping ![Smiley](https://forums.tigsource.com/Smileys/derek/smiley.gif)

This looks pretty bossing, significantly more violent end than I was expecting though, haha. Gun feels nice and powerful, at least from the gif.
