Pareidolia is the name of the phenomenon that allows a noise generator like this to work. Click the second link in my post. All client-side so quite open.

Bug squashing. As you can see the animation doesn't play initially. But it does after you have moved in another direction or something. Also, animations are reversed when hes facing left.

Porting Pole Vaultage! to Android. It was quite easier than I expected, although I've had to disable the second player (HaxeFlixel doesn't do well with multiple cameras on CPP targets). But the performance is satisfying. Click the image for a 6-second movie:

Yeah, pretty much. I got the flying and stuff working pretty well, though I don't really have any more 'game' yet. :p Here's a quickie video showing it in action.

Looks like you've done a great job with the flying. Already appears fun just navigating around.
