Humans like to be missed, so when they come back you should throw a party. If a bunny misses someone they go on a hunger strike and don't usually survive.

Good physics-based games don't exist, do they now?

Still, it's probably better than wasting it in a dive bar or a casino. So there's that consolation.

I love fumbling around with objects at random until words show up on screen telling me I solved a puzzle

Because I took a break from making games until I get into college, and I mostly just use reddit now anyway. Once I get into college and I have my schedule figured out, I'll be back on tigs more frequently (since I'll be making games again).

So I got some jalapeno and cheese bagels from the grocery store for $1.25, they were on the discount aisle. I assumed it was because they were near expiration, I was wrong. They were fresh, but they were piled high with the spiciest jalapenos I've ever had in my life. Scratch that, the hottest food I've had in my life, and I've eaten some lava-like wasabi and ghost peppers. It's over a half hour later and I am still salivating fire. I am on the fence whether I am thoroughly enjoying these bagels or beginning to fear them...

People REALLY don't want orchestra because the kickstart grinded to a screeching halt to £1,453,925 It's been a while it's been keeping sub 1,5M

I don't think that's because people hate the orchestral track, but because all kickstarters slow down very abruptly after the first few days. The funding is still rising gradually and I'm sure by next week they'll hit the last goal.
Or maybe you're joking. It's impossible to tell.

I'm joking but I can't tell either if it's true because they do have a lot of debate about orchestra, but yeah sheer inertia will pull it obviously (and I'm sure there will be a lofi version too).
There is also the case that the abrupt slowdown is due to two factor, starvation of the niche and high early mobilization of that niche, so it burnt fast.

wait people really want a MIDI score? i thought the "debate" was between orchestral vs non-orchestral, not orchestral vs shitty soundfonts. wat a heck. talk about misapplied nostalgia.
they do realize that all the "dynamic" stuff (which is really just fading between different arrangements of the same tune) could still be done with live instruments right?
my personal fave would be a live soundtrack with a small ensemble but games never do this. always has to be orchestras for some dum reason.
