I've only seen the Berserk anime, which was really cool.

Have seen about 75 %of it and they're ALL shows I've loved. I'm going to pick my next few from this list, thanks!

Wow, I've watched a good number of those. Ergo Proxy was particularly pretty, had almost forgotten that I watched it.

It's pretentious, but its interesting, and very well animated.

i dislike most anime but i love this art style

If you haven't seen Cat Soup(by the same person who made MindGame) yet, you can watch it on youtube for free.

I highly recommend it, it really makes you think.

Ergo Proxy was one of the best looking shows I've seen.

(pretty much all of the screenshots i could find were of the mc, Re-l)

It's about a post-apocalyptic world where the entirety of humanity lives in a dome city, where their lives are cared for and managed by machines, called Autoreivs. The story begins when Re-l is sent to investigate (because she's a cop) reports of autoreivs who start neglecting orders... It's not really an action anime; has more talking than anything else. I watched it a long time ago, but I remember enjoying it somewhat. Not my favorite thing, but I'd rather I did watch it than didn't.

Godly animation.

Not exactly. While Masaaki Yuasa was indeed involved in both projects, he directed mind game (and kemonozume), while he was mostly just inc harge of the animation and stuff for cat soup.

Man, it is impossible to find a gif of the scene with Canti and the crows.  The way the animation synced with the music's crescendo really stood out to me.

The best thing about Tatami Galaxy was how well it ended, which is refreshing compared to the countless number of animes that seem to write themselves into a corner.

Watched the first hour of The Sky Crawlers.

The poster promised me dogfights and explosions. Instead, I got teens looking angstily into the distance and long stretches of time wherein nothing ever fucking happens.

MORE FLCL gushing:

FLCL has a really catchy soundtrack. The Pillows did a good job. Although it suffers from 'japanese people trying to speak english' disease, its still fun to listen to.
