I really like this. It's the video game equivalent of looking out the window of an airplane and seeing how it all fits together from above.
I'd have liked to see Castlevania piece together the vertical rooms as well, but I guess you can't have everything all at once.

Hey guys, I've been looking for a tutorial/article about art basics, it's a link to another site. It was like a tutorial covering shape basics, lighting, colors, etc. It was authored by a fellow forum member, and featured a lot of nicely drawn examples, stuff like digital paintings... But I can't find the link or even remember the name or the thread where it was posted. I've been trying to find it, but no luck. Any help is very appreciated!

when you forget to give yr dog a bath all winter and his fur get grody  god the aughts were weird I'm in this place where I'm excited about seeing new Star Wars movie even though I can't, for the life of me, ever recall caring about Star Wars. -- edit -- I think the movie I want the most is another National Lampoon movie where in the end Chevy Chase encounters a scientist who like built robot bodies to house the souls of the dog and cat that got killed in vacation and christmas, respectively, and the last ten minutes are tearful reconciliation and chevy chase receiving forgiveness from the pets whose deaths he implicitly had a hand in. |

edit: i also didnt know who cheech and chong were for the longest time. then i googled them and found out. but ive since forgotten again.

Oh, it's a reference to the 90s when OJ Simpson ran away from the police in a white chevrolet station wagon (aka chevy) and they had to chase him down.
From wikipedia:
"Thousands of spectators and on-lookers packed overpasses along the procession's journey waiting for the white Bronco. In a festival-like atmosphere, some had signs urging Simpson to flee.[20]:88[26] They and the millions watching the chase on television felt part of a "common emotional experience", one author wrote, as they "wonder[ed] if O. ultiomately this is why the new star awrs matters.

The only entry in the tales series I know is Undertale, so I assume it is a series of games that are thinly veiled vehicles for furry matchmaking and fan made pornography.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Watching TB's arbitrary award show on Twitch and it just started off with a rock cover of "Hopes and Dreams". I think that's a good sign!
I like how in-depth he goes in explaining his choices, that way it's more meaningful.
