I would have no problem with the b-team creating a bloodborne dlc. It would be nice to see another take on that world.
Dark Souls 2 was not great, but it wasnt terrible and it was their first attempt on the franchise. The formula is beginning to become stale, some new blood could help to add some more variety in it.

i think a new kings field title is way more likely now than maybe five years ago. enough people are interested in souls games and the subject matter is similar enough that marketing it would be a lot easier than before.
i really miss the ps1 and 2 days, though. when development was cheaper and it was less risky to bring weird shit to the west. now the vita is pretty much the only place that that happens anymore.

i'd say in general the pc is basically THE platform for "weird" and risky games now. probably because distribution costs are extremely low and there seems to be a little more acceptance for games that don't fit the standard AAA paradigm.

The interesting thing about these twitchplays streams is that the difficulty is self-balancing to some extent. When people lose interest the number of inputs decreases and it becomes easier for the remaining viewers to control the character.
Maybe if everyone leaves except for like ~10 players it might be possible to win the game... but I doubt it.

Assign a numerical code to each C++ command as well as a voting system, hook up a stream to code::blocks and watch the insanity ensue. Add commands for navigation and compiling of course.

amazing that there are basically 24/7 trolls in those twitch plays thingies, like beating dark souls with chat commands isn't hard enough regarding miyazaki's possible retirement from dev, i don't think its likely. he clearly can't help himself, he likes games as much as his fans. maybe he'll stop taking the director's chair as often but i suspect he'll still be heavily involved with the development of future titles. i dunno, just a feeling. maybe im completely wrong, which is sad to think

Twitch chat defeated the Asylum Demon... then they got to firelink and immediately aggro the crestfallen warrior. "Now that's just embarrassing" x100

someone should make an experiment and see how long they take compared to a program that just inputs random button presses
