One that autogenerates whatever I think about.
It's curious that I have art and music in my head but don't seem to have the dexterity to put them to paper.

game maker, but with a better room editor and the ability to play the game while you edit it instead of forcing you to re-compile it every time you change something in order to see the changes. real-time game editing, in other words.

An easy 2.5D editor would be fantastic- I love the style, but I'm struggling to find a Doom editor that has documentation on how to make original sprites and objects. It's frustrating, because I would love to be able to make simple low-res games with it, if only I could learn how to do it.

When I was a kid I imagined a machine that would hook into your brain and transform your thoughts into videogames (for the Genesis).

Even the simplest of tools you have to take time to learn how to use. I would like one that eliminates that problem :D

Game Maker, but, as Paul Eres stated, with real time editing and without that nasty screen tearing.
