Now with 100% more jump and blinking. Left the green background on because the dust on the jump was pretty hard to see. As well, I had a horrific time trying to make the hair for the jump and I still dislike it, so I'm going to continue working on that.

I prefered the heart stream to the scattergun fire, but other than that it's looking really good.

A WIP :X Wanted to know errors before I move on Aside from what others have said, I think the background is a bit too saturated. It kind of distracts from the characters. i was lazy and just quoted the last thing the rocks they don't project onto the grass for the layer below! look at the wip tree at the topright it spreads onto the grass, perspective the second ledge doesn't do anything to the grass below the rocks should like poke out and stuff onto the grass it's sitting on top of something - inset, no? not behind balanced on the corner there are no shadows on the grass from the rocks either

A couple free image hosts: PhotobucketImageShackIf you right-click and "copy image location" for most of the pictures posted here, pasting it into your address bar will tell you that these two hosts are pretty popular.

Thankyou, ChevyRay, that'll come in really useful! Here's something, then: I'm still working on that, it's an enemy for a game I've been working on for a while. I have a few other sprites and things for it, but now that I'm learning to use Game Maker, I'm probably going to have to resize everything. Here's a few more: This is the character the player controls. And in 32x32 (WIP). A generic enemy. Another enemy. And the boss version of the first guy. They're not animated yet, but I'll get to it pretty soon. *EDIT* Feedback/criticism appreciated, no matter how scathing. I want to improve, help meh~!

Lovely colors. It looks like you just gave yourself boobs, though. To make her more feminine, I'd give her a less prominent chin and softer facial features, mainly, but perhaps also a different hairline.

ah, sweetness, thanks Arachne. I'd actually tried to soften up the chin before but it was giving me a hard time so I just left it helpful though, will attend. edit; better? Both of those changes worked really well.

Different: boobs, panties, jewelry, mushrooms, (now) face Same: attitude, posture, clothes, feet, (used to be) face didn't use a reference but my family all said it looked really freakily like me. argh now that I'm looking at it again I think the far leg is too long
