Development is a bit slow these days, mostly on my side (art assets) as I've been scrambling to find a job since my contract is ending soon. You see kids, that's what happens when you choose the animation industry as a career, you work from contract to contract. It's actually good though, as soon as I get tired of working somewhere, it's time to go work somewhere else!

Hey there! I decided to take my game idea to TIG forums to spread the word and then found you here. Smiley
I'm still totally pumped for this game. Anything that is inspired by anything Doug TenNapel is automatically #1.
Also I checked out the early alpha on Kongregate and you got his face to peel off of the wall. That's exciting  Well, hello there!

We're not doing a Kickstarter unless all the stars align & we have more of the game to show, but even then I don't really know if KS is right for us.

We're not on Greenlight proper, but we have GL Concepts page, where the votes don't really count toward anything other than letting us know how much people are liking the game.



I'm happy with these stats tho!


On the actual gamedev front, things are a bit quiet, Craig is on vacation for a fortnight & I'm just plucking away at the game slowly but surely!

@Whiteclaws: I wouldn't read too much into those numbers. Votes skew more towards YES in Concepts because people don't have to downvote a game to get it out of their queue (as there is no queue), so you have to actively dislike something to downvote it. Whereas in main Greenlight you might downvote something because it's not for you (won't buy/not interested) even if you think it looks solid, which is why around 50/50 is common even for popular games.

So all Concepts really tell you is there are at least X nr of people who already care enough about your game to upvote it. That, and Unique visitors is an indication of how attractive your thumbnail image is and/or how much you are getting referred directly from outside Greenlight.
